We created and developed the identity & branding of Amsterdam based boutique hotel, bar and restaurant Morgan & Mees.

In the visual identity we share the story of cosmopolitan Morgan and down-to-earth Mees: two personalities that are as different as day and night, yet always stronger as one.
Morgan is modern & eclectic, while Mees is timeless & relatable. In this mix, we found a perfect match to serve as the base for all Morgan & Mees communication.
We created a detailed blueprint for Morgan & Mees that guided them to share what, where, when & how in order to built their brand and engage their online community.

VISUAL IDENTITY

BRAND
MARK

The brandmark is constructed out of two components:
one ‘M’ for Morgan & one ‘M’ for Mees. Both M’s, each representing their own world, are integrated in the design. Mirroring eachother they create a new icon full of contrast: representing the dualistic world of Morgan & Mees.

PATTERN

The logo serves as the base for the brand pattern. By duplicating the mirrored brandmark, we created an eclectic pattern that functions as the foundation of the branding.
