NUMÉRO

On Valentines day we launched the visual story ‘Secret Nature’ for Numéro Magazine.

It’s a harsh reality that in 71 countries homosexuality is punishable and in 11 countries it even means a death sentence. That’s why on the day of love, we pay a hommage to those who aren’t equally fee to share the nature of their being in in public. It is than that our true nature becomes a secret nature.

A project initiated by Romy Treebusch to encourage greater acceptance and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

  • For this series I helped photographer Romy Treebusch develop her creative vision into a larger narrative and bring the concept visually to life on Numéro Magazine

The story takes the viewer on a voyeuristic journey to those rare abandoned places in society, where queer people can still find the freedom to reveal their true nature.

Hey Siri,
how do I hide my love?

HOMMAGE TO
HIDDEN ROMANCE

A lovestory that captures the moments when queer couples can only find
the freedom to love in unlikely abandoned places.

In the depths of our soul we find our true nature.
But not all of us are equally free to share the nature of their being in public.

Secret
Nature

Veiled in secrecy

The story takes the viewer on a voyeuristic journey to those rare abandoned places in society, where queer people can still find the freedom to reveal their true nature.

With this story we aim to encourage greater acceptance and support for the LGBTQ+ community that still are forced to have their true nature veiled in secrecy.
